Moisture probes are tools to get the job done. We provide new or used, according to your needs, preferences and budget. Neutron moisture probes (CPN 503 DR) are pricy, bulky and require licensing but are robust, can be worked hard and provide very reliable and consistent soil moisture readings taken in a relatively large volume of soil. Non nuclear probes such as Aquapro, C-probe, Diviner2000 and GroPoint are good alternatives. They are cheaper, lighter and faster but are sensitive to access tube air gaps and samples a small radius around the tube compared to a neutron probe. Please contact us for current pricing. |
