Growers in Wasco Co, are in a unique situation since the District Conservationist has been proactive in securing a NCRS Environmental Quality Incentive Program (EQIP) that will pay $20/acre towards a soil moisture monitoring service along with the incentives they normally offer. This funding is limited and growers are urged to sign up as soon as possible.
