Great news for growers in Hood River Co.

Growers in Hood River Co. can now get support for advanced water management as part of the NCRS Environmental Quality Incentive Program (EQIP) that will pay $35/acre towards the cost of a soil moisture monitoring service along with the incentives they normally offer. This funding is limited and growers are urged to sign up as soon as possible. If you act now, you could still be considered for the 2003 season.  Speak to your District Conservationist, Carly Heron at Tel. (541) 386 2815.   For further details on the Incentive Program click EQIP.

Irrinet can provide a complete turnkey service. For a small monthly charge you get weekly soil moisture data, recorded on your computer, where you can view and evaluate the data using our software. We provide a professional interpretation of the data and work with you towards whatever it is you want to achieve with your irrigation. You need not  buy any equipment.  Those growers who already have moisture probes or other equipment and want to utilize it, are also included. We can help you optimize the use of your own equipment.
